Fall Retreat 2019

Our annual Fall Retreat will is coming up fast! It will be Friday, November 22nd – Sunday, November 24th. This year, the retreat will be held at Children’s Harbor in Alexander City, AL since Hargis has been closed. The cost is $75 per student plus money for one fast food meal on Sunday afternoon. The deadline to have all money turned in is Sunday, October 27th. We will be providing two 15 passenger vans for transportation and we still need drivers for those vans. However, I understand that since this is the start of Thanksgiving Break that several families will plan to leave from the retreat to go out of town for the week. However, there is limited parking at Children’s Harbor, so please keep that in mind when making that decision. Please let Jared know if you have any questions regarding this.

On another note, this is no longer a Roc Kids & GSM event. It is now solely a GSM event. Again, if your family is planning on leaving for Thanksgiving Break from Children’s Harbor and is bringing children who are not in GSM (7th-12th grade), please let Jared know.

We are so excited to see what God has in store for us this weekend! Children’s Harbor has a beautiful campus right on the banks of Lake Martin that include beach volleyball, an outdoor amphitheater with fire pit, a full outdoor basketball court, a putt-putt course, all included with our lake-side lodging.

If you are interested in going, sign-up sheets can be found in the teen room as well as both Connect Stations. If you have any interest in driving a van or have any questions, please let Jared know!
