Up, In & Out Spring Retreat

Spring Retreat
Where: Laguna Beach Christian Retreat
When: April 16-18th

Needs: $ for dinner Friday night, bibles and notepads, all bedding (dorm room style housing, so they need sheets, blankets and pillow), ALL toiletries. (Special note on beds. The rooms are mostly twin beds but have some doubles as well. Any sheet LARGER than a twin will fit all the beds, so feel free to pack a large fitted sheet to accommodate the variations of beds available). Please check the weather as the weekend is showing signs of being a little cooler and having some rain. Pack accordingly (nights on the beach ARE colder so a jacket/sweatshirt is advised).

Details: We will depart from the Church Office (51 Industrial Blvd) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday evening and will stop for dinner. We will return home Sunday by 11:00 a.m. We will be taking I-10 to Defuniak Springs and heading south on 331 to bypass all beach traffic. We can arrange an I-10 pick up for those in Navarre if needs be. Please contact Seth to work this out.

Our meals will be catered through Laguna, so Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday are provided. We will provide some snacks and drinks for the rooms. TEENS CAN ALSO BRING THEIR OWNS SNACKS FOR THE ROOMS!

Special Notes:
We will not be doing a full “no cellphone” approach but we will be working on limiting cellphone usage as part of what we hope to accomplish during this retreat. Chaperones will have their phones at all times for emergency purposes and you will be able to contact your teen as needed, but wanted to give you a heads up on this.

Questions? Ask Seth.
