We are thrilled to announce we will be going to UPLIFT at Harding University this year for our summer trip in June! Uplift is very similar to IMPACT and you can expect the same level of connection, growth and fun!
We will stay on Harding’s campus the ENTIRE week, worshiping there, playing there, eating there, and growing closer to God and one another.
Here are the initial logistics to get your teen signed up!
Dates: June 20-27*
Cost: $350.00 per student (This covers EVERYTHING at Uplift as well as a few special things detailed below).
Sign up: We are opening up 15 spots initially on a first come/first serve basis so sign your Teen up ASAP! We reserve spots by NAME, so the quicker your teen gets signed up, the quicker I can get them registered. PLEASE don’t wait if you are able to sign them up now!
Deadline to Sign up is May 3.

Initial Schedule:
As Harding is further away, we are looking at breaking the trip up. We would depart on Saturday, June 20th, in the morning and stay in Birmingham, Alabama. There, we will enjoy some time at the Birmingham Zoo and then a dinner together (This IS included in your fee). We will wake up on June 21, enjoy worship and then head the rest of the way to Harding. We will enjoy the week there (once we are there, we will remain on campus the whole time). I put that our arrival date is on the 27th. As of right now, we may break the trip in half again from the 26th but I will have a better idea of that as we get closer!
Initial Information:
Housing: Dorm room style. Your teen will need to bring bedding, toiletries and towels.
Food: Harding Cafeteria will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Clothing: Comfortable casual clothing during the day/evening and athletic wear/comfortable clothes during free time.
Schedule: Each day will consist of devotionals, breakout classes, worship, fun and games, keynotes and free time (all over campus). We will remain together as a group for the most part during the gathering times but there will be freedom around campus. There are counselors and staff, as well as chaperones.
Special Note:
Uplift is a long week, with great intentionality. Your teen will be housed in a dorm with other teens and will be expected to adhere to all rules and regulations. Your teen will be expected to stay on schedule and be where they need to be. While there is no “formal” cell phone policy, we want to be mindful of your teens connectedness while on this trip, so a few rules may be put in place that will be shared with you beforehand as it pertains to technology. On the sign up sheet that you click above is the following statement, that we would like for you to agree to.
I AM aware that Uplift is a week long event on a college campus that will allow certain freedoms for my teen to enjoy, under supervision. I AM aware my teen will be staying in a dorm room with other teens for the duration of the week and will be sharing close space for that period of time. I AM aware that Uplift follows a schedule and that my teen is expected to follow that schedule and be where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there and I WILL support the Youth Minister in making sure this schedule is adhered to. I believe my teen is able to enjoy this entire week with no foreseeable issues and am excited for them to attend!
If you have any concerns about your teen attending UPLIFT, please feel free to reach out to me so we can talk through the logistics. It truly can be one of the greatest weeks and I am excited we get the opportunity to go!
As we get closer, we will have more specific information available. GO SIGN UP!
